Watches Coming Soon on this week
"New arrival on this week"
Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet and Baume & Mercier have arrived.
Vacheron Constantin Patrimony 33093 WG. We sold the same Patrimony 33093 before , but that version has a skeleton back cover.
This time we got the white normal case back version.
31.5mm case with white dial, bar indexes, baton hands, and simple VC dress watch.
"Minimalism" is the perfect word for a design that strips away excess to the bare minimum.
The Patrimony collection, which began in 2004 and continues to this day, features designs inspired by the 1950s and incorporates Vacheron Constantin's time-honored traditions reinterpreted in a modern way.
However, this watch looks and feels still modern even in 2023.
The movement is the Cal.1003/2, a classically designed movement that has existed since 1955, and as I mentioned earlier, the Patrimony is "a collection inspired by the 1950s," with a diameter of only 21 mm and a thinness of 1.64 mm, making it an ultra-thin movement.
The next is an Audemars Piguet WG Black Matte dial from 1970s.
The key point is that the case is 35mm, which is rare for this age.
It is a modern size when you think about it now. While most of them are about 33mm or smaller, the 35mm case is fresh.
This case size is suitable for people with larger arms or those who think that 33mm or smaller might be a little small.
The dial is black, and the watch is tight throughout.
The black dial gives the watch an overall impression of being tight, and the word "just right" rather than "large" is more appropriate.
The movement is Cal.2003/1, an ultra-thin manual-winding movement based on JLC Cal.803, which was brushed up by Audemars Piguet and used in many AP watches.
The movement and the case are both very thin, so it is very light. 35mm case itself is large for a vintage Audemars, but it is very light when you wear it.
There are many points to look for in a dress watch, such as size, material, weight, and design, and I think this watch will satisfy many of those points.
Lastly, we have the Baume&Mercier "Tank" 37059 YG, manual winding, bark finish.
The case size is about the same as the Cartier Tank and the same as the Jaeger-LeCoultre 6029.21 Rectangle YG White Roman I sold before.
The design is the same bark finish as the Rolex Datejust and Day-Date. Bark means "bark" and is so called because of the similarity of the carved irregular patterns.
The case material is yellow gold, and the hands are painted glossy black.
The middle of the indexes are actually black, and the design is very elaborate, colored with the short and long hands. The crown is also made of stones, and the watch was made with a lot of effort and cost.
The movement is Cal. BM777, a manual-winding movement based on ETA2512, which was also used in Cartier Tank.
