-Description
Audemars Piguet was founded in Le Brassus in the Vallée de Joux by Jules-Louis Audemars and Edouard-Auguste Piguet.

Since its founding in 1875, it is the oldest watch brand that has been consistently managed by the founding family.

Since its founding, it has been manufacturing complication watches such as perpetual calendars, chronographs, and Sonnerie watches, and together with Vacheron Constantin and Audemars Piguet, it is known as one of the world's three major brands.

This watch is a self-winding round watch made in 1957.

The case material is stainless steel, which is rare for AP.
The case diameter is 35mm, which is large for a watch of this era.

The streamlined case with integrated lugs can be described as a Calatrava case.

The bezel and sides are both polished, giving the watch an overall casual impression.

The case back is screw back, which is very rare, and has a concentric hairline finish and a polished outer circumference.

The dial is a milky white opaline dial.
The matte finish is almost sandblasted, and depending on the angle, the color appears ivory or cream.

In addition to bullet-shaped indexes, a combination of a metal-grade minute circle embedded with a pearl drop method and a baton hands.

The rounded Audemars Piguet font is also characteristic of vintage.

The installed movement is a self-winding Cal.2499.
Audemars Piguet's first self-winding movement, based on the Jaeger Lecoultre caliber 493.

Only 700 units were manufactured between 1953 and 1958.

As you can see in the photo, 18K gold is used for the outer circumference of the rotor.

Gold is used to secure the winding efficiency by making the rotor heavy.

Furthermore, in the gold part
Guilloche engraving of Clous de Paris is also given, and you can feel the commitment of Audemars Piguet, which manufactures ultra-luxury watches.

It is a vintage watch with many elements: it was produced in the 1950s, is made of steel, and is an automatic watch by Audemars Piguet.
