So if you purchase from overseas, the strap will be replaced with a similar strap made of calf leather as an alternative. Breguet is a long-established watch brand founded in 1775 by Abraham-Louis Breguet, a genius watchmaker. About 70% of the mechanism installed in modern wristwatches is said to have been invented and improved by Abraham-Louis Breguet, and is also described as "Leonardo da Vinci in the watch world". Abraham-Louis Breguet's watches have been praised in every court in Europe, with customers such as Queen Marie Antoinette and Napoleon Bonaparte. The guilloche carving on the dial, the coin edge decoration on the side of the case, the Breguet hands, and the design are just like the charm of the brand. In addition to the beautiful round form, it is a watch that has both artistry and functionality, such as a simple, lean and sophisticated atmosphere, visibility, and high functionality. The crown is engraved with the Breguet B mark.
Abraham-Louis Breguet invented the various mechanisms essential to a wristwatch, as well as the design parts such as Breguet hands and Breguet numerals during the pocket watch era.
He is also known for inventing complex mechanisms such as tourbillons and perpetual calendars.
Currently, we continue to make luxury watches as the highest brand of the Swatch Group.
"Classic" is a collection inspired by the works of the brand when it was born.
Classic collection watches are packed with all the elements that characterize Breguet.
This Ref.BB 5917 has a case made of 18K white gold and a size of 34mm, which is a standard size for a dress watch. The size is such that women can use it without any discomfort.
The current lineup is one or two times larger, so this feeling of size is valuable.
The above coin edge decoration is also a big feature, but the lug part is also different from other watch brands. The strap is screwed instead of a spring bar. The
dial is made of 18K gold as well as the case, and all are guilloché engraved.
Around 12:00, a secret sign is engraved thinly to prevent counterfeit products.
The largest area is a pyramid-like pattern called Cour de Paris, and the index part is satin touch.
If you look closely, there are parts where the pattern is slightly different, and it is the part where you can feel the artistry of the watch brand, which is also called a craft.
The great thing about Breguet is that this carving is not done by a fully automatic machine, but by a craftsman using a manual machine. The
movement is equipped with a self-winding Cal.591. It is a machine with many adjustments
based on Lemania's caliber.
Breguet and Lemania have a deep connection, dating back to the 1940s. And in 2003 Lemania was integrated with Breguet and is now the Breguet Manufacture.
This watch has a see-through back on the back of the case, and you can see the movement that has been finished in every detail.
In particular, the 21K gold rotor is a specification unique to ultra-luxury brands. This rotor also has a guilloche carving, and it is no exaggeration to say that it is a craft to be attached to the arm.
A genuine white gold buckle is attached to the black leather strap.
Overhauled. The case is light polished.

About Complete Service
Complete service, sometime called overhaul is the work of disassembling a mechanical product down to its individual parts, cleaning and reassembling it to bring it closer to its new state of performance.
Roughly speaking, the overhaul procedure is as follows.
1. Separate into case and movement
2. Disassemble the movement
3. Inspection and pre-cleaning of wear condition of each part
4. Wash parts with a special machine
5. Lubrication and assembly
6. Waterproof test
7. Final adjustment and running test.
Some movements are made up of hundreds of parts, but it is a very meticulous process of disassembling them one by one, inspecting them all, cleaning them, and reassembling them.
If you don't overhaul, the oil will deteriorate just like a car, and the risk of wear and damage to parts increases, causing a decrease in accuracy and, in severe cases, not working.
There is also the reason that it will be very expensive to replace parts after they are found to be damaged, so we recommend overhauling once every 2-3 years for economical and long-term use.
About Polishing
Vintage watches have been used for decades, and even the stainless steel used in many watches has rounded corners that were originally sharp, and has many small scratches even though the mirror finish should be beautiful. state.
At Arbitro, some watches are sold with a new finish, based on the idea that you can purchase them in beautiful condition and use them for a long time.
In particular, gold-cased dress watches are finished to bring out the best of the precious metal case.
The watches sold by us that have been given a new finish are shot in very high definition, so you can see that the edges stand out and the light is reflected by the mirror finish.
Also, depending on the case or bracelet, there are cases where multiple finishes such as mirror finish and hairline finish are mixed, but there are not many craftsmen who can distinguish between them and finish them at a high level.
In addition, the “thinness of the case” is also a part that is greatly influenced by the skill of the craftsman.
A watch that has become thinner and has thinner lugs is far from its original design, and the appearance becomes unbalanced.
It is a very precise work that brings the case closer to the original finish by eliminating scratches and dents while reducing the thickness of the case to the utmost limit.
Of course, there are cases where it is better to use the watch as it is, in order to emphasize the history of the watch and its original condition.
We look at each watch and judge whether it is best to finish it before selling it.
