-Description

Cellini is a dress line that focuses on elegance and does not use an oyster case, which is Rolex's most distinctive feature.

Although it is less well-known than the Oyster case dress line and sports models such as the Datejust, it has a long history and was created in 1928.

The name "Cellini" comes from Benvenuto Cellini, a 16th century Italian Renaissance engraver.

This Cellini is the only one in the Rolex collection that bears the name of a specific person, giving it a unique position.

Although Cellini is only produced in gold or platinum, there are countless variations in case, dial, and hand combinations.

This reference 4113 is a watch with a rounded rectangular case. This  example was manufactured around 1978.

The case is made of 18K yellow gold. The case width is 26mm and the heights is 34mm, it is a bit large for a Cellini of the same age, but in today's sense, it is a size that would be suitable for both men and women.

The case design has a relatively narrow bezel, giving an impression that the dial stands out. The bezel is polished and the side of the case has a hairline finish.

The case back has been similarly elaborated, with the outer periphery being polished and the center having a hairline.

The dial is a champagne gold dial with a sunray finish. It is in such good condition that it is hard to believe it is over 40 years old.

The index is a multi-faceted long bar index. The bar hand of the same color is also cut, and the way it sparkles depending on the angle is impressive.

The installed movement is hand-wound Cal.1601. Including the base Cal.1600 and the minor change model Cal.1602, it is a highly reliable machine that has been used for several decades.

This watch comes as a very rare complete set for a Cellini, including box, guarantee paper and other accessories.

The guarantee paper states that it was sold at an authorized store in Japan in 1979, and it also comes with box for Cellini and a booklet explaining the collection.
